Located along the scenic canal in Glasgow, Ocho Glasgow G4 9TB is a charming café that has quickly emerged as a local favorite for brunch enthusiasts. Guests rave about the intimate atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff, making it a delightful spot for both casual diners and families alike.
The menu highlights are particularly noteworthy. Customers like Andrew Fernandez have ecstatically praised the breakfast meat burrito, loaded with crispy bacon, savory sausage, and bright pico de gallo—a dish that stands out as possibly the best breakfast burrito in the city. Meanwhile, the French toast stack has garnered significant acclaim for its innovative combination of halloumi and chili oil, which diners like Pete Cater can't stop talking about.
However, it’s advisable to book a table, given the café's limited seating and popularity. While the space can feel tight, especially for wheelchair users, it remains a cozy venue that provides dog-friendly options and thoughtful amenities like a clean toilet facility. For a satisfying and hearty brunch experience, Ocho delivers on all fronts, making it a must-visit spot in Glasgow.

A beautiful brunch spot on the canal! Small and intimate atmosphere. We booked a table, which I would advise as it is a limited number of tables. Staff friendly and attentive Food was delicious, coffee was lovely. Pricing reasonable for what you are getting All rounder pleasant place to enjoy some food. For wheelchair user you may want to consider it's size it may be tight but no impossible. Toilet is just one large cubicle, clean and presentable but couldn't help notice the child's high chair is stored in here next to a toilet that's flushed often with the customers coming in and out. Although I can see why it would be kept here to make space inside cafe it just felt a bit uncleanly if a child is to be eating from it. Dog friendly with a variety of treats for the dog if the dog comes along. And the long and short of it all is Would I recommend yes!

Tucked away by the canal, Ocho in Glasgow might just be serving up the city’s best-kept breakfast secret. I popped in for a morning bite and ordered the breakfast meat burrito—and wow, what a decision. Packed with crispy bacon, juicy sausage, fluffy egg, and fresh, zingy pico de gallo, this burrito was a flavour bomb from the first bite. Everything was perfectly balanced—nothing overpowering, just layers of goodness wrapped in a warm tortilla. Honestly, it might just be the best breakfast burrito I’ve had. The vibe was laid-back, the staff friendly, and the food? Next level. What a find.

I have recently discovered this little gem and its been so good that i really look forward to coming each time. I have a few hours to myself each sat morning once ive dropped the kids off to their Saturday activity class. The area does not have many choices for a good breakfast/brunch spot so i was delighted to have found this place. Always seems busy, service is good and the food is great too. Only visited twice so far and ive ordered the same thing both times (sweet potatoand chickpea hash plus chorizo). First time i visited i felt the portion size was a bit small for the price. However the second time, portion size was bigger, so im hoping the second time sizing is the norm. If visiting, I'd advise to book in advance as there is limited seating. Parking is usually ok. I only have visited on A sat morning and there seems to be plenty spaces.

We came to this place for breakfast while visiting Glasgow with our kids on a holiday. They serve superb breakfast dishes and the workers are very kind. The place itself is clean & cosy. The kids loved the French Toast dish so much! I do recommend you to try it for sure when you're in the area.

First time in Ocho, it won’t be the last. I had a new dish on the menu, French toast stack with Halloumi, tomatoes chili oil coated nuts and a herb dressing topped with a poached egg. It was absolutely fantastic and a big plate of food. Would thoroughly recommend this place for breakfast or brunch.

Finally visited Ocho as it's been on my list to visit since moving to Glasgow years ago. It is a cute small place. Stunning views of Glasgow and a nice canal walk just at the front. Not the easiest place to get to but worth a visit

Lovely place for breakfast! The young male waiter was lovely, very friendly and made us feel very welcome despite coming on a very busy day. Coffee was so good I got one to take away.

- welcoming and caring staff - nice and good atmosphere - ordered their special Turkish breakfast. It was delicious. I enjoyed every bite of it Overall, great experience and highly recommended. Note to the owner: I saw you allow dogs inside the restaurant. Unfortunately, some people are allergic to animals. Please pay attention
